सौंदर्य

तुम्हे देखते ही मुझमे कुछ अजब भाव जगता है;
भीतर कोई सन्त, खुशी में भर रोने लगता है।

कितनी शुभ्र ! पवित्र ! नहा कर अभी तुरत आई हो?
अथवा किसी देव मन्दिर से यह शुचिता लायी हो?

एकाकिनी नही तुम, कोई शिखा और जलती है;
किसी शक्ति की किरण तुम्हारे संग-संग चलती है।

और नही तो क्यों न सुलगती तृषा अंक भरने की ?
क्यों जगती है तुम्हे देख इच्छा पूजा करने की?

प्रेम की खोज

जो लोग कमर कस कर
प्रेम की खोज में निकले हैं,
जान लो कि वे पूरे प्रेमहीन हैं ।

ओदी लकडी, जो जलती नही ।
कोई ऐसी लता,
जो, कोशिशों के बाद भी, फलती नहीं ।

बाँस का लम्बा पेड़,
जिसमे फूल नहीं खिलता है ।
जो प्रेमहीन हैं,
उसे प्रेम कहीं नहीं मिलता है ।

लेकिन, जो स्वयं प्रेमी हैं,
वे प्रेम हर जगह पाते हैं ।
और ऐसे लोग
प्रेम कि खोज में कहीं नहीं जाते हैं ।

लॉकेट - गुलज़ार

मुझको इतने से काम पे रख लो,
जब भी सीने पे झूलता लॉकेट उल्टा हो जाए तो,
मै हाथों से सीधा करता रहूँ उसको ।

जब गरारे में पाँव फंस जाए,
या दुपट्टा किवाड़ में अटके,
एक नज़र देख लो तो काफ़ी है ।

मुझको इतने से काम पे रख लो,
जब भी सीने पे झूलता लॉकेट उल्टा हो जाए तो,
मै हाथों से सीधा करता रहूँ उसको ।
